HUNTING

My hubby just started deer hunting last year but he used a riffle that my dad gave him .It was a old riffle it had no scope or any thing I think he said it was a 4 10 or something like that. I don't really know. Anyway he went hunting and I prayed every time he left that he would get a deer because I was just excited as he was about the whole hunting thing.Well riffle season came and gone and he never got a deer that year. He was so upset and heart broken I felt for him. All I can do is encourage him to try again next year and tell that we can try to get a scope put his gun if it did not cost that much money. We don't bring that much money in because I cant work anymore because of my health problems. Anyway over the summer he decided that he wanted to bow hunt this year I told him that was great and I was all up for him to do that. But I told him you have one problem you have no bow and arrow . He was telling me that his friend Rob was going to lend his to him because he had 2 or something like that. A couple of weeks go by and I did not hear him talk to much about it so I thought maybe he changed his mind . BOY OH BOY !!!!!!!!!! was I ever wrong he gets off work early one day and Rob and my hubby decided to go to Gander Mountain right there should tell you that he was going to get him self in trouble anyway he ends up taking half of his check 200.00$ and put a new cross bow in lay-way it ended up costing over 400 dollars that is two months rent for us. I was mad but I think what made me upset the most was he did not talk to me about it first I really don't think it was the money I wont lie that had a part in it to. But I thought he should of talked to me. Anyway cross bow season is in right now I guess it started Oct.1st he is all excited he has his bow and new hunting clothes and all that good stuff he leave to go hunting Sat. and not even a hour later he shows up all upset I guess where he had his deer stand there was a field next to it and the framer was plowing his field that night I started laughing at him because he cant win for losing the poor guy he going hunting this weekend so lets all say a prayer and hope he can get a deer. He also plans to hunt when gun season comes in and I think I'm going to buy him a scope off E-bay shhhhhh!!!!! that a secret.
